![]() ![]() As for Rob, he will NEVER get into another Land Speed Vehicle. Analysis also found the car was traveling at 660+ feet per second after passing two 1/4 mile flags in slightly less than two seconds. Crash analysis has shown he also lost a tire, most likely running over a lost Dzus fastener found at the last contact patch of the tire when it ruptured. He has since gone through heavy physical therapy, and as of early February, is speaking slowly, and walking with multiple person assistance. He made it home shortly before Thanksgiving, unable to talk, or move without assistance. He was in a coma roughly till mid November. Although he escaped the crash without any bodily harm of broken bones, he is the only person in the world to have survived multiple lobe separation in his brain while suffering a catastrophic head injury. I hope Lee is doing better, but “glad to hear no one was hurt badly” could not be further than the truth for Rob. I came across this thread looking for info on Lee’s crash. ![]()
